Physical Therapist

Physical therapists (PTs) are part of the Exceptional Student Services team that provide support for students with special needs in the district.  PTs support students whose gross motor skills limit their ability to access their educational environment, and work with the team to provide accommodations for these students. 

 

The team goal is to help students become more independent, and PTs work to develop skills, provide necessary equipment, and modify tasks and environments as needed to help students achieve this goal.

 

PTs provide both direct services and indirect collaboration with staff members to support students’ needs.

 

In 9-R, creativity and collaboration are critical to helping students with unique needs access their enriching school environments!
