The Club@Durango Schools

Boys & Girls Club of La Plata County (BGC) and Durango School District (DSD) have partnered to provide The Club@Durango Schools, a premier site-based after-school program for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. All students in grades 3-12 also have the option to participate in after-school programming at the Main Club.

This program requires signing up for a BGC membership for the current school year, as well as selecting specific dates. Registration for the following month goes live on the first Wednesday of the previous month. (For example, families may register for dates in November starting on the first Wednesday of October.)

Note for Fort Lewis Mesa Elementary School and Sunnyside Elementary School families: Students at Fort Lewis Mesa and Sunnyside participate in a separate after-school enrichment program called The Fort, although they may also choose to attend after-school programming at the Main Club. For details and to register, please call your school's front office.

The Club@Park: For students at Park Elementary School, Needham Elementary School, and Riverview Elementary School
The Club@Florida Mesa: For students at Florida Mesa Elementary School
The Club@Animas Valley: For students at Animas Valley Elementary School

Main Club: Located at 2750 Main Ave., next to the Durango Community Recreation Center

The Club@Durango Schools: Grades K-5

While The Club@Durango Schools is open to students in kindergarten through 5th grade, we strongly encourage our 4th- and 5th-grade members to join us at the Main Club (2750 Main Ave.) for more age-appropriate fun with their peers. Transportation is provided from most schools. Register for a Main Club Membership to attend.

Note: The Club@Durango Schools operates under the DSD school-aged child care license.

Financial assistance

Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP) funds through the Department of Human Services may be available to assist with after-school program fees. Contact the Department of Human Services for application details at 970-375-6150.

If a family is ineligible or denied for CCCAP, Boys & Girls Club of La Plata County offers additional need-based financial assistance. To apply, complete this Need-Based Financial Assistance Application. Please allow 5-7 business days for application processing. Families who are approved will be contacted with a coupon code.
