Former Mustang Visits

Students zoomed around the court all morning with Noah and his sister Armada, and dad, Jason, teaching kids how to navigate the wheelchairs, practice shooting the ball and passing, and playing some short scrimmages.

This was all possible because Noah wanted to share his passion, and his story, inspiring others to reach high and never lose sight of your dreams.   Thanks to generous donations from the Denver Junior Rolling Nuggets, and a local private donor, $60,000 worth of equipment was provided to Noah to share with the school and the students at the school.

Noah learned about Wheelchair Basketball only four years ago, but he has proven his natural talent fast, and upon graduation from Animas High School this spring, Noah will venture up to the University of Illinois on a full-ride scholarship to gain his bachelor’s degree and represent the sport for the university.

We are proud of his accomplishments and thank him for sharing his passion with the Florida Mesa Community!  Visit the Florida Mesa Elementary website for more photos.
