2026 DEF Staff Appreciation event celebrates outstanding work

With a strong turnout of staff members, the event offered time to relax and connect over a shared meal from Zia Taqueria, along with drinks and conversation among colleagues from across the district.

  • Oscar Trono – Riverview Elementary School
  • Abigail Perry – Escalante Middle School
  • Julia Kitchen – Florida Mesa Elementary School

Each honoree received a custom wood plaque created by EMS students in Bryan Bagdol's woodshop class, adding a meaningful, student-crafted touch to the recognition.
