Workshop helps families navigate the transition to adult services

This event is designed for families of students with disabilities to learn how to bridge the gap between school-based support and independent adult life.

The workshop assists families and teachers in transitioning their students from district services to those provided by community organizations. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from other parents and from several community service agencies, including:

  • DSD Pathways Program
  • The Arc of Southwest Colorado
  • Community Connections
  • School to Work Alliance Program
  • Southwest Center for Independence
  • Safe at Home

Childcare will be available for those who need it, and light refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP by emailing [email protected] or calling 970-903-9444.
