Jason said, "Erica has been going above and beyond as a Special Education Teacher at The Hub. She is the lead manager for several students, is supporting and mentoring a colleague in their SPED teacher role, and has been developing and teaching academic units. She also goes the extra mile to individualize each student's projects and adapt assignments to meet each student's personal needs.
"Erica joined The Hub this year and has brought organization and structure to our programming. She guides our staff in how to best implement students' academic and social-emotional accommodations, often working late to complete IEP documentation and communicate it with the staff across the district who support that student.
"Erica's spunky energy and enthusiasm are infectious to staff and students, who take on her excitement and are inspired to find ways to make even the biggest challenges enjoyable.
