Competing against 20 teams from across the Front Range, DHS students proved they’re a force to be reckoned with, earning the Connect Award for building a strong robotics culture in their community and securing a spot at next weekend’s State Championship at Colorado School of Mines.
Team members Austin Whitman, Shreya Vaidya, Gideon Bokelman, Liam McAllister, Linus Prothero, Orin Gartner, Vicente Pavon, and Maya Donaldson have logged more than 200 hours designing, testing, and refining their robot — showing real perseverance, teamwork, and innovation. They’ve also reached out to inspire younger students through robotics demos, helping grow STEM learning across our district.
