In August 2026, Big Picture will relocate to a permanent, newly renovated home at 281 Sawyer Drive, Suite 300, in Bodo Park — right above the District Administration Office. This transition into a district-owned facility was made possible through community support of the 2024 Investing in Our Schools Bond.
With more space comes new opportunity. Big Picture will expand enrollment and continue evolving its identity as a small, highly personalized high school designed for students who want something different.
Enrollment is now open for additional 9th-12th grade spots for the 2026-27 school year.
Why families choose Big Picture:
- Strong Relationships: Small advisories and daily one-on-one support
- Real-World Learning: Internships and community-based experiences
- Academic Challenge: Projects, exhibitions, and meaningful feedback
- Flexible Pathways: College, trades, workforce, or entrepreneurship
Families of rising high school students are invited to a Family Night on Tuesday, March 10, at 5:30 p.m. at the current Big Picture campus (150 Tech Center Drive, Suites A and E). Meet staff, learn how the model works, and explore whether Big Picture could be the right fit for your student.
As this school grows, we want to hear from our entire DSD community. Please take a few minutes to complete our anonymous survey and share your perspective on the future of Big Picture.
