District D Board vacancy: Submit letters of interest through Feb. 20
DSD has launched a public process to fill a vacancy on the Board of Education representing Director District D. In accordance with state law and district policy, the Board will appoint a qualified District D resident to serve through November 2027, and is accepting letters of interest through Friday, Feb. 20, at 5 p.m.
Community members are encouraged to learn more about the appointment process, timeline, eligibility requirements, and how to apply on DSD's 2026 Board Appointment webpage.

Feb. 6: Virtual Q&A session about Board vacancy
The DSD Board of Education will host a virtual Board Coffee Chat on Friday, Feb. 6, from 12 to 1 p.m. to answer questions about the current District D Board vacancy. The Zoom meeting is open to the public, and District D residents who are interested in applying for the Board vacancy are encouraged to attend.
