Krista Karpel, Fine Arts Department Coordinator and Art, Painting, and Fashion Design Teacher at Durango High School (DHS), won this week's staff Bravo Award for being a Creative Problem-Solver, Confident Communicator, and Resilient Risk-Taker.
She is being honored for the countless hours she and her students dedicate to creating and maintaining the vibrant murals that brighten DHS hallways, bringing beauty, inspiration, pride, and joy to the school community.
