2025 Outstanding Employee Awards: Nominate a colleague by April 16
The Durango Education Foundation (DEF) seeks your nominations for the 2025 Outstanding Employee Awards. Anyone in our educational community may nominate a Durango School District (DSD) employee who makes a positive impact on our schools, educators, support staff, students, or families.
Winners will be selected in the following categories:
- Elementary teacher
- Middle school teacher
- High school teacher
- Support staff member
Each winner will receive a $250 cash prize. All nominees — whether selected or not — will receive a copy of your nomination at the 9-R Employee Appreciation Celebration on Wednesday, April 23, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Morehart Murphy Subaru (450 Wilson Gulch Dr.). You may ask to remain anonymous.
Help DEF celebrate as many district employees as possible: Submit your nominations by Wednesday, April 16, then join us at the 9-R Employee Appreciation Celebration on Wednesday, April 23.
