Bravo! Winner: Cat Burns

They say, "Ms. Cat has created an entire wonderful microcosm to promote Confident Communicators in our community. She can talk about the way air moves and proper tongue placement like it is so exciting and fun! She understands that helping students unlearn and relearn adjustments to make our communication constructs is complicated, but she always is able to make it fun and improve for students.

"Ms. Cat comes up with fun games as incentives for the students in her program so that they can learn and achieve in a positive atmosphere. She is constantly trying to find the right combination for learning for students and offers multiple suggestions of how to help students achieve their speech goals, including working with or without friends, practicing at different times of the day, and doing realistic 'homework.'

"She really is dedicated to her craft, her students, and our community, because she knows how important it is to be a Confident Communicator in this world. We are so lucky to have her helping our students and, in turn, being a great coworker with us.

"We love you so much, Ms. Cat. Sssssssssss, th, dge means we appreciate you! :)"
