Melissa says, "Mandy is jumping, diving, and going deep this year, and surfacing as a Courageous Leader. She is mentoring and advising an entire new staff in the preschool as she helps shape the future with best practices, meeting goals, and especially intensive interaction — all while managing her own classroom!
"Mandy has been a positive force in guiding our youngest students in a growth mindset because she embodies the concept and models it daily with her terrific attitude and fun, as a Courageous Leader should. She is always learning, growing, and trying out concepts that will help our future Husky pack be able to grow into a family.
"Mandy leads the way and when she does, others want to follow, to be a part of the pack and join in with her positive-facing outlook and adventures. The way that she guides her staff and students is so encouraging and clearly is forward-facing, directed toward all Portrait of a Graduate competencies. She learns to let go of things (which is perhaps the hardest part of all) as she forges on with goal-focused attention, always thinking of others first.
