Nathan says, “I think that every member of the Miller Middle School staff deserves recognition for the monumental effort they put in at the start of this school year. Transitioning to use the Impact Center and the Durango High School West Wing required some creative problem-solving and agile thinking on the part of every teacher ... especially the teachers who taught in the Open Commons of the Impact Center.
"They all collaborated with each other, DHS staff, Impact Center staff, and district administration to truly exemplify the notion that we are all on the same team throughout 9-R. The expected cynicism was absent when met with the realities of construction, punch lists, and deadlines; instead, every staff member courageously led their students and their teams, while remaining resilient during that tenuous situation."
