The DEA Negotiations Team met on January 19.  The team established norms for the group.  The team reviewed Article 14; 2-b SLB.  The current Sick leave bank balance is 6097.61 hours as of January 11, 2024.  Per the article we must maintain a minimum balance of 3200 hours.

The team reviewed Article 11 Retirement as it is an automatic opener.  The article was determined to be in compliance.

The team used the interest-based process to discuss potential language about administrative leave processes when a licensed staff member needs to be placed on administrative leave due to a matter that needs to be reviewed.  A work team has been established to draft language to bring back to the team to review.

The team began the process on Article 33, Complaint Procedure.  The team will reconvene on February 7.
