The Board of Education also approved a 3% salary increase for Licensed Staff and Student Service Providers on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at the Board of Education Meeting. This salary increase is retroactive to the start of the contract for the 2023-2024 school year.
Details for Education Support Professionals
Education Support Professionals (ESP) will receive a supplemental pay installment in their Dec. 2023 paycheck. This December supplemental pay installment will reflect the 3% hourly rate increase for the paychecks received to date for the 2023-2024 school year, including the month of December, to address the retroactive pay owed to the start of the 2023-2024 letter of intent for hours worked that were not extra hours or overtime hours.
Extra hours and overtime hours worked July 1, 2023 - Dec. 15, 2023 will be reviewed in the upcoming month and will receive their retroactive 3% hourly increase due in the Jan. 2024 paycheck.
Moving forward after Dec. 2023, ESP will not see a supplemental payline for hours worked Jan. 1, 2024 to the end of the letter of intent for the 2023-2024 school year as the 3% increase will be reflected in the hourly rate being paid.
ESP will receive an updated letter of intent, reflecting the new rate of pay, through the employee portal by the end of Jan. 2024.

Since the December installment includes multiple months of retroactive increase pay, it will be larger than the installments received in Jan. 2024 and the subsequent pay months for the contract.
