- 12:15-1:45 p.m. – Secondary Staff

“The session helps staff understand the benefits of inclusion for our students with disabilities. The session focuses on seeing disability as diversity, which invites us to embrace each student's unique characteristics and strengths,” said Vanessa Giddings, Executive Director of Student Support Services.
The training will provide the district staff with an overview of inclusive practices for students of different backgrounds and learning disabilities, and it will include best practices and effective co-teaching models.
“The session focuses on seeing disability as diversity, which invites us to embrace each student's unique characteristics and strengths,” Giddings said.
Professional dialogue is at the heart of progress, and each of you are encouraged to actively participate in this upcoming presentation. Your engagement and thoughtful contributions will enrich our collective learning experience and bring us closer to realizing our vision of a more inclusive school district.
In preparation for the session you will be receiving a couple of emails directly from Dr. Causton and Dr. Pretti-Frontczak. These emails will provide you with valuable insights and materials to ensure that the session is productive and meaningful.
