“At Animas Valley we have an extremely dedicated group of people who strive to collaborate with each other to support our students and each other. Jenny stands out among the rest because she is the collaborator to us all. When we are struggling to help support a students needs in our classroom, Jenny is the first person we know we can reach out to. She will give up her lunch or send as much time as we need after school making sure that we have strategies to take back to our room to help our student. She thinks outside of the box, she is flexible, and passionate about what she does. She is a guiding voice when a teacher is feeling overwhelmed, and there is no bigger advocate for our kids than her. She give a voice to those who may not have one whether it is in a small group setting or a school professional development. She teaches adults and students alike with wisdom, kindness, and support. She gives all of herself whether it is an academic student, behavior student, or struggling teacher. You will always find her here until almost 5 and never will you not see her with a smile on her face. Jenny is the definition of an Empathetic Collaborator.”
