Bullying & Harassment Policy

Our goals are to eliminate bullying, prevent the development of new bullying problems, and to foster better relationships at school so everyone feels safe and welcomed. We are seeking staff and community help in taking this seriously by emphasizing these four rules within our school communities:

  • We will not bully others.
  • We will help students who are bullied.
  • We will include students who are left out.
  • If we know that someone is being bullied, we will tell an adult at school and an adult at home.

School administration is enforcing a zero tolerance policy for bullying. There will be consequences such as loss of privileges, behavior plans, suspension, or expulsion for students who bully other students in person or online. Recently our district has adopted a Bullying and Harassment Investigation Manual to support school administrators. HERE is the manual for your reference.

Bullying has no place in our schools. We appreciate your support in addressing any actions or allegations of bullying that arise in your school.
