The teachers will participate in educational field trips to the monument, assist in updating the Escalante Pueblo Curriculum and Education Loan Kits, and create a social media and information plan to help get the word out to teachers about these free programs.
The teacher selected will receive an educational stipend of $3,000 for completing 160 hours of service. The teacher will also receive 3 graduate credits which can be used as continuing education credits through the University of Colorado. All fees and tuition are covered by the Teachers on Public Lands program.
