Employee Insurance Open Enrollment Is Active

Durango School District 9-R has a comprehensive benefit guide that can be found by visiting the  Payroll & Benefits webpage. Please note there are no changes in rates. If you do not make any changes to your benefits, you will be rolled into the same coverage you currently have. To view a Benefits Overview Video please click here. Enrollment for the 2022-2023 year will be completed online through the CEBT webpage (cebt.org/online-community). Open Enrollment Instructions can be found on the Payroll & Benefits webpage. If you need your password reset please email [email protected].

Employees should make selections for the period of July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023.  Payments for July coverage are deducted from the June paycheck.  Any employee who prepaid the summer months of June, July and August will be billed for the difference between 2021-2022 rates and 2022-2023 rates for their selection.  

Employees who are contracted for the 2021-2022 school year and are not returning for the 2022-2023 school year are eligible for insurance through September 30th (if set up for 12 checks or prepaid summer benefits through payroll deductions). 

Employees who have coverage in 2021-2022 and do not make selections through open enrollment will be considered to have selected the same coverage, including pre or post tax elections if not specified.  

If you are an eligible employee and would like to waive medical coverage, a signed waiver will be required, as well as waiving on the CEBT enrollment website. Please send the signed waiver to the Payroll Department, [email protected].  

This is the only open enrollment period for July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023.  Any other changes past the open enrollment period will only be accepted with a qualifying life event such as loss of coverage, changes in household, changes in residence, etc.

Supplemental plans (including flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts and dependent care flexible spending accounts) will be enrolled separately after the CEBT open enrollment period.
