Families with children entering kindergarten in fall 2026 are invited to join a free 3-part READY! for Kindergarten workshop series designed to help parents build school-readiness skills at home. The sessions offer practical strategies, hands-on learning tools, child care, and a light dinner — all at no cost to families. Workshops will be held in the library at Needham Elementary School (2425 W. Third Ave.) on the following dates: |

Presented by the Early Childhood Council of La Plata County (ECCLPC) and DSD Early Childhood Programs, this series equips parents with tools to nurture their child’s development and confidence before kindergarten.
