Special Dietary Needs

Durango School District 9R Food and Nutrition Services strives to accommodate all student's dietary needs and preferences. Please see the following links to request meal modifications, requests, and special dietary information.

 

Your student's school kitchen is pleased and obligated to make meal modifications when there is a properly completed meal modification form documenting a disability, allergy, or food intolerance. This must be signed by a licensed physician and submitted to Durango 9R Food and Nutrition Services or your school nurse.

 

These will be accommodated to the best of our ability, depending on limiting factors such as product availability, cost, and labor. This includes substitutions for fluid milk, as this is not a required component of a meal and can be declined by any student.
