Mental Health Partnerships

  • Mental Health Partnerships
  • Durango School District 9-R benefits from numerous partnerships with local youth-serving organizations that help provide important services and programs for students and families. While many of these organizations do not provide mental and behavioral health services specifically, these organizations nevertheless help develop various protective factors that support resilient mental health in youth. Further, these organizations provide collaboration and consultation with Durango 9-R district leaders, training and professional development for Durango 9-R staff, direct student services both in schools and in the community, community resource navigation, positive prosocial outlets for youth, referral pathways for community-based medical and mental-health related services, and more. The network of skilled, compassionate youth and family-serving professionals within these organizations are indispensable partners in our effort to connect families and children to opportunities and resources when physical, mental and emotional challenges arise.
