March Newsletter 2026

Principal Message

Miller Families,

As we welcome the longer days of March, our halls are buzzing with activity. From the classroom to the athletic field, this month is all about celebrating student growth and ensuring that every voice in our community feels heard, valued, and empowered! Here's what you need to know for this month:

Supporting Your Student

  • Student-led conferences are on March 2, 2026! Please be on the lookout for communication from your student’s Advisory teacher that will include a sign-up link. Conferences will be from 11:00-7:00. Scheduled conferences are from 11:00 am-6:00 pm, and drop-in conferences are from 6:00-7:00 pm. Miller’s conferences are student-led, so please make sure your student is in attendance.
  • To help you stay connected, we are updating our communication habits. Starting this term, teachers will be "pre-loading" assignments into the Infinite Campus (IC) Gradebook. When you log into the portal, you will no longer just see what has been completed—you will see what is coming up. We hope this transparency helps you support your student’s planning and success.
  • Additionally, please look for information regarding the SSIS (Social Skills Improvement System) survey. This tool is vital in helping us understand student needs and strengthening our social-emotional supports.

Centering Student Voices

This month, we’re launching Student Listening Sessions — intentional opportunities for students to share their experiences, insights, and ideas about our school. By truly listening to their voices, we gain a deeper understanding of what’s working and where we can grow. These conversations help us strengthen the systems and supports around them so every student feels seen, valued, and set up for success.

CMAS

MMS is preparing for its Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) testing beginning in April. The school would like to have snacks for students each day they have testing. This equates to nearly 4000 snacks!!

We are seeking snack donations. If you are able, please help by purchasing 1 or more bulk, multi-boxes of snacks and delivering them to the MMS Office. We have until March 13 to collect the snacks. Sign up to assist with snack donations.

Go Angels!
