Notice of Meeting to Review School District Budget

Notice is hereby given that a proposed budget has been submitted to, and adopted by, the Board of Education of Durango School District 9-R for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2022, and has been filed in the district finance department where it is available for public inspection. It is also available on the district website at https://www.durangoschools.org/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=516601&type=d&pREC_ID=1035822.  Print copies of the budget are available at the district office, 201 E. 12th St., upon request.

The budget will be considered for review and possible changes at a Work Session of the Board of Education of Durango School District 9-R on Aug. 16 at 5 p.m. at the district administration building, 201 E. 12th St. 

Any person paying school taxes in said district may at any time prior to the review of the budget file or register their objections to the budget and/or any comments pertaining thereto. The Board will also hear public comment at the meeting. Public comment will be limited to in-person budget comments only in 10 limited first-come, first-serve time slots. Additional agenda items will be added to the meeting as needed and times may be adjusted.
