Update from Superintendent Dan Snowberger

Good Afternoon 9-R Community,

The following is an update on our planning for the 2020-21 School Year. Based on all of the information we have at this time, we do intend to operate on a traditional, in-person schedule with the first day of school being Tuesday, August 25. As with everything with this pandemic, things could change as time passes this summer but we are hopeful to stay this course.

Good morning, this is Dan Snowberger, Superintendent of Durango School District 9-R with this week’s community message. On Monday, Colorado Governor Polis extended his cancellation of in-person instruction in Colorado for the remainder of the school year.
