Assessment Gains: Superintendent Dr. Laurie Rossback provided an overview of middle-of-year assessments that showed student progress in nearly every grade level and subject.

Early Literacy: DIBELS 8 results for kindergarten through 5th grade showed an average increase of 9% since the beginning of the year.

Elementary Progress: i-Ready assessments for K-5th grade reading and math showed an average increase of 21% from the start of the year.

Secondary Achievement: STAR results for grades 6-12 reading and math showed an average of 1% at or above state proficiency.
Actions taken by the Board

Agenda Approval: Board members approved the Board and Superintendent Consent Agendas, which included HR items, January and February meeting minutes, Title 1 Waivers, Bond bid packages, furniture purchases, and change orders.

Policy Compliance: The Board found the Superintendent to be in compliance with policy OE-07 regarding Asset Protection.

Calendar Adoption: Officials approved the academic calendar for the 2027-28 school year.
