MMS Engineering students build a better mousetrap

Creating simple machines powered by an actual mousetrap, students put engineering concepts into action; safely used power tools; and learned what it really means to design, test, and problem-solve.

This is hands-on, project-based learning at its best — and it’s not just fun. Principles of Engineering is one of four advanced middle school courses that allow students to earn high school credit before they even reach high school.

It's just another reason DSD middle schools are marvelous!
