What was discussed and reviewed

  • Received and reviewed the superintendent’s OE-12 Report (Operational Expectation 12: Technology) for annual monitoring.
  • Board members provided updates from their respective district and community committee meetings over the past month.
  • RTA Architects presented an interior design update for the new Three Springs Elementary School.
  • Devon Merriman, Jacobs project manager, provided a quarterly status update on bond projects underway across the district.
  • Director of Finance Kira Horenn presented the Budget Committee’s recommendations for the 2026-27 school year.
  • Erika Brown shared a legislative update, including next steps for the Get It Done campaign and the potential for regional advocacy and shared priorities.

Actions taken by the Board

  • Approved the public notice posting location for all board meetings for the year. Notices will be posted in the lobby of the District Administration Office at 281 Sawyer Drive.
  • Approved the resolution declaring a vacancy on the board.

Community engagement

  • Riverview fourth- and fifth-grade students presented innovative projects highlighting their use of technology and Portrait of a Graduate skills.
  • Student Board members shared takeaways from the Colorado Association of School Boards state conference and provided an update on their Calm Spaces project initiative.
