Volunteers Needed for FIRST Lego League Challenge, Nov. 11

FIRST Lego League Challenge is the mid-level program for students in grade 4-8. Challenge culminates in a regional Tournament, this year held November 11th at Escalante Middle School.

This event is a fantastic celebration of hard work, and inspires kids of all ages to pursue STEAM opportunities. The students will share their Innovation Project, present their robot design, compete in the Robot Game, and support their Core Values as they connect with other teams from the region.

We are reaching out to gather volunteers for the event. Volunteer positions are varied, with different time commitments and requirements. Please take a moment to look over the roles, and see if any inspire you to join in on the day. We would love to have all of the help we can get, so please feel free to share the information far and wide. Volunteering at this event is a direct support to the students and helps create a positive impact on the Durango learning community.

If you are interested in volunteering, have any questions, or want to learn more about the program or event, please reach out to the Volunteer Coordinator, Sarah Rogers, [email protected] or call: 970-259-9234 ext 106.

Thank you for your support of FIRST Lego League and STEAM in 9-R!
