Please join us on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. for the parade on Main Avenue. It will be an atmosphere full of hometown pride as we celebrate Homecoming Week at Durango High School. The parade will run from 5th St. to Buckley Park. All district schools, as well as youth organizations, have been invited to participate. Families please contact your child's school to see if they will be participating.
DHS Student Council is also hosting a Tailgate Celebration prior to the Homecoming football game on Oct. 20. The tailgate will feature many DHS clubs, sports, and activities with games, prizes, and food sold to raise money for school clubs and activities.
Tailgate Celebration will start at 4:30 p.m. and run until kickoff. We would love to see alumni, parents and members of the community show up to support DHS and then cheer the football team to victory.
