All meals will remain free for all students through at least December 2025. Families are asked to complete a Free & Reduced Price Meal application, as these forms help the district qualify for additional funding, and your student may also qualify for fee waivers or other support.

Durango School District (DSD) students are making big academic gains, according to new 2024-25 end-of-year assessment results. Across multiple grade levels, students showed improved proficiency in both reading and math – outpacing national averages in key areas.

Durango High School celebrated the grand reopening of its newly remodeled weight room on June 12 with a ribbon cutting and donor appreciation event. The project was made possible thanks to generous contributions from local families, businesses, and a dedicated team of volunteers.
