School Safety Task Force committee is school/community-based committee commissioned to solicit knowledge and expertise to assist in identifying priorities and implementation of school safety initiatives.
This committee will be responsible for reviewing existing and future district school safety and security measures. We will review, recomend and/or update:
As we continue to hear about another act of violence around the country, it is imperative that we engage and hear from our schools and community stakeholders to appropriately prioritize sustainable and best practice safety and security measures
With your expertise and familiarity with our schools and or community, we are seeking your time on this committee, which will ultimately make recommendations to the board around priority safety and security measures. The goal of the School Safety Task Force Committee is to provide recommendations, looking at both the upcoming school year and then five (5) to ten (10) years out.
