Natalie Medina

Natalie began her career with Durango 9-R in October, 2000 as the Kid Time Director and part-time dishwasher.  Natalie served as Cook at Miller Middle School for several years prior to being promoted to Cafeteria Manager in October 2018.

When asked what she likes best about her job, Natalie replied, "The kiddos!"  She likes to cheer up the students when they are down, and reminds them that she has an open door policy for them.  Natalie says she also enjoys the people she works with.

Natalie has earned certificates in Childhood Development and Food Service.  Her hobbies include spending time with her grandsons, travelling, and watching movies.

Fun fact:  Natalie won a contest in high school for the biggest hairdo, which earned her the nickname Bouffant!
