Durango High School will be administering the ASVAB on November 1, 2021. Students may sign-up in person in the Post-Secondary Center or complete this Google Form.
The ASVAB is a vocational aptitude and career exploration tool and is an excellent means to measure a student's strengths and potential for placement into an Armed Forces or Department of Defense career. The ASVAB administered at Durango High School IS NOT USED FOR RECRUITING PURPOSES. Further information about this ASVAB administration can be found HERE.
Students interested in taking the ASVAB specifically for enlistment purposes should first speak to their recruiter and prepare to take the ASVAB at an approved MEPS location in consultation with their recruiter. The ASVAB takes approximately 2 ½ hours to complete. All necessary materials necessary to administer the exam will be provided, including pencils, scratch paper, etc. Students should be seated and ready to take the test at 8:15 am.
