Elementary Program
Students entering Grades 1-3:
8 a.m. to Noon at Park Elementary
Students entering Grades 4-6:
8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Needham Elementary
Instruction:
Class work focuses on mathematics, reading, and writing.
Fees:
Non-refundable $30 fee required for registration. Scholarships available
only for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch program.
After-School Program:
Durango Parks and Recreation will provide Game Time activities. Extra fees
may apply.
Transportation:
Bus transportation will be provided.

Middle School
Program
Students
entering Grades 7-9:

Escalante Middle School
Instruction:
Mathematics with outdoor learning activities.
Fees:
Non-refundable $50 fee required for registration. Scholarships available
only for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch program. Registration
deadline is June 9.

High School Program
Students
entering Grades 9-12:
First session: 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Second session: 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

High School
Instruction:
English, math, science, and social studies. Only students who have previously
failed classes in these areas may enroll to recover credit.
Fees:
District
9-R students: Non-refundable $150 fee for
first class, $75 fee for second class.
Out-of-district
students: Non-refundable $300 fee for first class,
$150 fee for second class.
Scholarships
available only for students who qualify for free or
reduced lunch program. Registration deadline is June
15.
